Students enrolled in the PhD program at ERU are fully funded for the entire duration of their doctoral research. Research students are encouraged to engage in collaborative research with faculty members, and many achieve multiple publications in leading international journals even before submitting their doctoral dissertations. 

Subsequent to graduation, our research scholars have been absorbed as Assistant Professors by top-tier academic institutions in India such as IIT Delhi, IIT Mumbai, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, IIM Calcutta, Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research, IISER Bhopal, Centre for Development Studies Trivandrum, Ahmedabad University, Visva Bharati University, Jadavpur University and Shiv Nadar University.
